Building a marketing blog to promote your writing

Promoting your writing is an important part of being a writer, and the internet gives you plenty of tools for doing that.  I’ve recently started blogging again after an earlier attempt to do so went awry, and I am loving every minute of it.  It’s wonderful to be able to share some of the knowledge and information I have picked up over the years (especially since I have turned to the internet to grab most of my current workload) and what better way to do that than by blogging?

It’s about much more than just sharing though.  Blogging can bring you to a whole new audience and I’ve just put together a brand new lens on Squidoo which reveals a lot more about this very subject.  You don’t need to sell to be able to benefit from having a marketing blog for your writing; it helps to strengthen your writing skills, and it brings you to a wider audience as well.

Take a look at the lens and see whether creating this type of blog might be just what you need to grab some more clients and stir up some more interest.  It’s called How to Build a Marketing Blog that Boosts Your Business and I’m sure you’ll be struck by just how easy this is to get off the ground!
