Back to online writing – and here’s how my first three days back have gone…

Back to the keyboard...

Hi all!  It’s good to be back blogging again.  I was planning to add a new post before now, but to be honest what I thought could be a slow start back at work has proved to be anything but.

Firstly I’ve had some new articles in from some regular clients, so that has kept me busy.  But I had promised myself I would start searching for other online clients when I got back too.  And my search seems to be paying off.  I found what looked like a nice blogging job which I applied for, and today I heard back and they’re happy to go ahead.  Just a couple of blog posts to begin with, and if all goes well it could be another regular gig.

I also came back to playing ‘catch up’.  If you have been reading my blog posts in the section labelled ‘a writing challenge‘, you will know that I am taking part in the 100 Articles in 100 Days Article Writing Challenge on Ezine Articles.

Now I had caught up by the time we went on holiday, but of course having had nine days off I am now behind schedule again.  Happily I have got back in the saddle and so far today I have completed three articles, with one more to come before quitting time.  Hopefully I can keep this up.

I am also quite spurred on to continue with this because I had an email from a guy who had found me via Ezines while I was away.  He offered me a weekly article writing job but I turned it down because he was only paying a very low fee.  Ah well, can’t win them all – but it’s good to know people are finding my articles and considering me as a potential freelancer worth working with.

So that has been my week so far.  I have plenty of regular monthly work to see me through the next few days, with more stuff coming in as well.  Holiday – what holiday?
