If you have a writing blog (you might use it to help you get more online freelance writing jobs perhaps) it is in your best interests to get it in front of as many people as possible.
I am writing this blog post at 10.14pm, having completed all my other work for the day and taken some time off in between those jobs as well.
It’s taken three months to finally get it to the stage where I can launch it to the world, but tonight is the night when it has finally happened.
This was written for the 100 Articles in 100 Days Ezine Articles Writing Challenge. But while it doesn’t mention writing specifically, it still holds true if you are thinking of creating a blog to try and attract new writing clients. Enjoy!
It doesn’t matter whether you are an online writer or you have some other kind of online business you want to promote. A blog is one of the best ways to connect with your audience – whoever that may be.

Writing a blog is something you could do for lots of reasons. You could share ideas, talk about your life or blog about a hobby of yours. But if you are a writer – or you want to earn money by doing online writing jobs – then you should create a blog to help you get jobs and make that a reality.
That’s what we’re all here for, isn’t it? We’re all after those writing jobs that we constantly see advertised – even if they aren’t all good.

Promoting your writing is an important part of being a writer, and the internet gives you plenty of tools for doing that. I’ve recently started blogging again after an earlier attempt to do so went awry, and I am loving every minute of it. It’s wonderful to be able to share some of the knowledge and information I have picked up over the years (especially since I have turned to the internet to grab most of my current workload) and what better way to do that than by blogging?
