The more you know and understand about keywords and search engine optimisation, the more money you are likely to be able to make as an online writer.

This is because there are thousands upon thousands of website owners and affiliate marketers online who want to promote their wares.  But they don’t have the skills to be able to write good articles themselves.  Many of them don’t have the time either – they would prefer to pay the money to get professional writers to create proper SEO articles on their behalf.

But one thing these potential clients DO know about is keywords.  They will come to you or advertise their requirements, and they will state that they want one or more specific keywords in each article you write.  They might have article titles or subjects in mind or they may not.  But whatever else they want, they will certainly have a list of keywords for you to use.

Some of them might ask you to use each one a specific number of times in an article.  So you might get asked to insert the primary keyword three times per article and two secondary keywords twice each.  That’s just an example of course – it depends on the client and the length of the article required as to what those requirements will be.

The point is, the more you can learn and find out about search engine optimization and how keywords work to attract the right readers, the more cash you are likely to be able to make out of this form of writing.  SEO writing might not appeal to everyone, but there is a LOT of it available and it is good, quick and relatively easy work to do – once you know what you are doing.

I’m one of those “website owners and affiliate marketers online who want to promote their wares”. And I both don’t have time and am not particularly adept at writing the kind of articles I need.

Allison knows what she’s talking about. She just finished a 10,000+ word project for me in a timely fashion. It all passed Copyscape and reads naturally. Thank you for your fine work Allison! I look forward to working with you again very soon.
