Well hello all – I am back from holiday and sitting in my writer’s chair once again! And you know, although it’s always sad to finish a holiday and come back home to normality (especially after the great time we had), I’m ready and raring to go and it was good to start writing again.
Hi all – this will be my last blog post for a few days as we are off to a trade fair for our eBay business, which we run alongside my writing. We went last year and we’re really looking forward to going again, and it will give me a few days off from writing.

I’m having a great day planning my writing around the tennis at Wimbledon, but it occurred to me that planning is really something we writers should be doing all the time. After all, when a new job comes in you need to be sure that you can complete it in plenty of time before that deadline looms…
