Hi all – this will be my last blog post for a few days as we are off to a trade fair for our eBay business, which we run alongside my writing. We went last year and we’re really looking forward to going again, and it will give me a few days off from writing.

Shall I take it - or not?
Although… I have a dilemma, as I still have loads of work to do and I am seriously thinking about taking the laptop with me just in case I feel inspired. Working from home can be really tough if you don’t keep tabs on your social life as well – it’s very easy to get caught up in work to the extent that months go by without you seeing any of your friends.
But we were out last night, we’re going out again tonight and so I am squeezing this blog post in to you guys as well, before focusing on some wedding articles that need to be written before we head off tomorrow. So I would say that yes, keeping up with your social life helps your writing as you can just switch off for a while, and then come back to it fully refreshed instead of feeling tired.
But getting that balance right is very difficult at times! See you all in a few days, and happy writing. I’ll let you know whether I decided to take the laptop or not… and more to the point, if I got any work done!
