Paying writing jobs aren’t as much like gold dust as some people think.
But paying writing jobs do not land in your lap either. They might do once you become well known and clients start to look you up and offer you work without you actively looking for it. But until then you have to do the hard work.
I had to really work at getting paying writing jobs to start with.
But I didn’t get discouraged because I developed a way of doing it that made me feel confident that it was only a matter of time before I found some. I would find a job, apply for it and then… FORGET ABOUT IT.
That’s it. That is my Mini-Boost for today. If you apply for something and then fret over it and check your emails every five minutes to see if you’ve had a reply, you’ll never apply for enough paying writing jobs to actually win any.
Be brutal. Focus on finding and applying for paying writing jobs. But don’t think about them once you’ve done so.
Instead, get on with applying for more. It’s a numbers game pure and simple. Apply for enough of them and who knows, the very next one of the paying writing jobs you’ve found today could be your first paid job.

i want royalties in return of my writing projects. do u really provide them?
Hi there, thanks for your comment! I don’t provide royalties personally but there are websites such as Associated Content, Helium and Constant Content where you can get published and either receive a flat fee for your work, ongoing royalties or a combination of both. The best kind of paying writing jobs though are the ones you find on your own directly from a client. Lots of people advertise for writers online – it’s just a question of finding the right client for your needs. Good luck!
